Recent reports indicate that there have been many undocumented immigrants with valid visas who are unable to leave the country due to their visa being set to expire within the next few months. Some of these individuals have even gone as far as requesting asylum in America, only for them to be denied because they already had proof of entry into our country!
Many employers use employment verification services to make sure an employee is legally authorized to work in the United States. These companies pay professional workers to confirm this authorization so that hiring opportunities can be secured for eligible employees.
Employment verification professionals are usually paid per document verified – typically by paying around 10-20 dollars per document reviewed. They must also be paid for each “yes” response given during the authentication process which means that a lot of people working under employment verification contracts earn extra money beyond what their salaries may seem like on the surface.
It is very common for employment verification professionals to deal with various amounts of documents and records related to different positions. This includes things such as job applications, passports, medical records, etc.
Reports say that some firms actively solicit illegal workers via social media sites and offer them employment using false pretenses. Once employed, these workers are then monitored through employment verification systems to see if they try to exit or abandon their position.
There is no official, definitive “exit” date for the P3 visa. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) can choose to deny renewal if they believe you will not return to work in Australia after your employment here expires, but it is up to them to prove this.
It is important to note that even if CIC denies renewals, this does not mean you are deported immediately. You still need to wait until your passport has expired before getting onto a plane or train back home.
There are some rules that apply when determining whether or not to grant an extension. To qualify, you must be able to show that you have made every effort to find suitable alternative accommodation and employment in Australia.
You also need to make sure your belongings and life outside of Australia are packed and ready to go so there's nothing left behind. A few days at most should do the trick!
If all these conditions are met, then your time may be extended for another six months.
The personal/business trip (P3) visa is only good for up to one year in the United States, so it’s important to make sure your stay is within that time frame.
If you overstay your visit by just a few days, then you may be able to extend your stay through online applications. This can be done at any time while you are still in America.
By applying early, you will have more time to complete the process and hopefully avoid too much of a hassle!
It is very difficult to apply for this extension after your initial entry has expired, so it is best to do it as soon as possible.
A person is eligible for a P3 visa if they are coming to Canada to work as an apprentice, registered practical nurse (RPN), or qualified dental assistant (QDA). If you already have employment in Canada, you may be able to apply for this visa instead of having to find new jobs here.
You must live in Canada when you enter country as a visitor with a P3 visa, so make sure your house-holding has been verified! You also need to stay in Canada for at least six months after your entry visa expires – it will not be extended because of this.
If you don’t qualify for a regular working holiday visa but still want to spend time in Canada, then look into a P3 visa option. You can read more about them here.
The process of getting a P3 visa can be quite time consuming, so it is important to know who cannot apply for one. If you are not able to obtain a visa, there are some things you can do to stay in Australia.
Firstly, if your employer has notified Australian Immigration that they will need to confirm their employment before a visa can be granted then you should speak with them about this.
Secondly, if you have proof such as an employee passport or work contract then these must be verified. Proof may include documents stating where you live, what country you belong to and whether you have residency status within Australia or not.
If all these checks fail then you will need to consider other options for staying in Australia. You could look at traveling while on a tourist visa or working under another type of visa.
This extension means that your I-20 form must be completed within the next week! You can now update your student visa by adding proof of enrollment, proof of payment, and proof of residence to your documents.
You do not have to send in your I-20 at this time but you will need it later when you apply for employment or transfer schools.
The most straightforward way to stay in Canada longer is to apply for an extension to your existing visa. This can be done online at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or through your local Canadian Consulate.
You will need to provide proof of both job offers and income, as well as documents that prove you have adequate funds to return home if needed. You also must include verification that you will remain available to work while your extended visit continues.
It’s important to note that only extensions beyond 30 days are possible for business trips or vacations, not for visits related to education or employment. To qualify, you must tell truthfully when applying what the reason for the trip is.
There is no need to worry about your visa status changing due to this extension! Your work authorization will be extended for one year as long as you have proof that you completed all requirements to stay in the country.
You must notify USCIS within five days of when the period originally expires. You cannot apply for another visa or employment certificate during this time, but you can reapply once it has expired. If you do not re-enter the US after the expiration of your current visa, you could face deportation.
It is important to remember that if you fail to remain in the United States beyond the original authorized duration, you may lose your immigration status and become subject to removal from the country. This would also mean losing your opportunity to continue working in the U.S.
If you are not able to work because of an unexpected life event, such as a job loss or family illness, you can apply for a short term non-working visa called a working holiday visa (PWHV). You must have enough money to return home if this happens so make sure you’re prepared before applying!
You will need to show your passport, proof of sufficient funds to travel back home and documents confirming that your intended trip is for less than six months.
Applications for a PWHV can be done through Australian embassies and consulates in your country of residence, or via government agencies directly. Find out which ones are right for you here: https://ausvisas.gov.au/WorkingHolidayApplication/.
