Many people are looking into how to process their EB-2 visa in order to work in the United States. While there is nothing wrong with that, it is important to know what kind of business will sponsor you for employment while also making sure your money is tight.
There are two main types of visas available under the family classification for workers. These are known as the Employment Based (EB) 2 visa and the Immigrant Visas (Overseas Experience (OVEs) or Life Work Skills (LWS) VISA. The difference between these two is very specific so be make sure you are well informed!
The first type is an Employer Nomination Certificate (ENOC). This is typically given by employers who want to hire you directly. They must show proof they have enough money to support yourself and your family if needed during your stay in America, and this can vary per person.
This second piece of paper is called an Alien Form I–9. It confirms that you have paid taxes in Canada or Mexico in the past three years and prove you are legally allowed to live and work in North America. Both documents need to be verified before being submitted to the US Government to determine if you qualify for the other visa type.
The timing for every step in the EB-3 visa process is different depending on what stage you are at when it finishes. These include things like submitting your application, receiving acknowledgement that your application was received, initial review, interview, and processing of documents.
The duration of each individual step varies as well. For example, an interviewer may need one day to schedule an appointment, while another may be scheduled immediately.
Overall, however, we have average timelines for all of these stages. When everything goes according to plan, the most time consuming part of the process is the initial review. This can sometimes drag out longer than expected because there are multiple people involved in this process who must agree before moving forward.
By having several individuals review your applications, however, this process can move quickly since only needs to be done once.
After submitting your application, you will be redirected to what’s called the eBizness Application Service (EAS) where you can check the status of your visa. There, you will see if there have been any issues while processing your paperwork or not.
If everything is okay, then your passport and visa will soon arrive at your home address! So, do not worry about that- we take care of our customers’ details.
However, if there has been an issue, you will be informed via email and phone as well. Make sure to pay close attention to these notifications because it may require you to fix the problem before proceeding with the visa process.

The next step is to prove you have at least $50,000 in net worth or are self-employed with revenue exceeding $150,000 per year. You also must be able to show that you’ll spend at least six months outside of your home country.
After this, you will need to submit proof that you’ve got adequate health coverage while traveling, as well as confirmation that you can sustain yourself financially during your stay.
You’ll also need to make sure that anyone living in your house or who plans to travel with you has a passport and proof of residence where they reside currently. This includes any dependents such as children!
Lastly, there is a one month deadline to receive approval after submitting all required documents. If you don’t, you won’t get credit for those 6 months and starting the process over could cost you a lot more money and time. Make sure to check out our article about other immigration options first if this is something that worries you.
The next step is to determine if you are eligible for the EB-3 visa. You will need to prove that your and your family’s life in the United States makes you or them likely to succeed academically or professionally in America.
You cannot simply say “I want to go to school here,” you must show how education will benefit your career or personal life in America. It is not enough to be only vaguely familiar with the educational system in America, nor is it sufficient to describe the importance of educating people from all backgrounds.
You have to clearly explain why education is important to achieving your goals. If you do not, then you run the risk of being denied the visa. You would also run out of time to apply for the visa before the deadline expires.
There are many ways to proof your academic success, such as through documents like diplomas, transcripts, and certificates. Make sure to include these along with pictures if necessary.
Many employers look at past job experiences when deciding whether or not to offer employment. These experiences should demonstrate your proficiency in performing professional duties. For example, if you worked as a accountant, offering evidence of your accounting certification could win you new opportunities.
If possible, make an appointment at a USCIS office so they can ask you more questions about your plans and what kind of jobs you hope to find.
If you are currently living in China with a valid visa, there is no need to apply for an EB-3 visa because you already have permission to live here! You can remain in China while your application is processed, so it is not a good idea to stress out over this step.
If however, you want to stay in the USA longer than six months, then you will still need to process your EB-3 visa as soon as possible.
The process to get your EB2-B advanced profession professional degree can take anywhere from one year to five years depending on how you manage your career. If you have enough money, there are ways to speed up the processing of your visa.
There are many reasons why people need to pursue their advanced education. It could be for personal growth or to advance in their field. Having an educational degree is a way to show off your skills and knowledge and draw attention towards yourself.
By seeking additional education, you’re also investing in yourself as a person. You’ll be developing new strengths and learning new things that help you grow professionally.
There are some rules when it comes to working while on an eb3 visa, but they don’t apply to all employers. Some companies will require you to work full time without pay for a set amount of time before giving you employment. This is not always common, so it is best to do research and see if this is something available to you before accepting job offers!
Hopefully you found this article helpful and know at least one more trick to accelerate the process of getting your advanced degree.
The next step in the processing of your EB-3 visa is to ask for an extension. This can be done by submitting an Extension Request Form online at `https://usvisas.gov/tools/request-extension/`. Make sure to include all relevant documents (proof of employment, proof of residence, etc) as well as how long you expect to stay in America.
Once everything has been submitted, you will need to wait for someone with our staff to review and approve or deny the request. If it is approved, we will send you a confirmation email, and you must have access to your computer to download and print your new I-94 card. Otherwise, you cannot leave the country!
If you do not receive word from us within two weeks, call us directly at 1-844-737-2098. We are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The next step in the visa processing process is to rename your business, or what some refer to as “business name change.” This can be done at any time during the length of your stay in Canada so it does not need to be completed while you are still working here.
It is very important that you do this correctly! If you don’t, you may run into trouble when you try to work here or even return home. You must prove that your business has changed and that you no longer represent who owns the business before you can reenter Canada under an eWork permit.
