As we all know, The Bachelor is a television show that has consistently garnered mass attention. With each season, his celebrity guests have increased and his audience has grown more large. He even received his own talk show!
The reason for this is simple- he makes people feel good about themselves. His glitzy appearances and constant praise make everyone else seem like they are much bigger than they really are.
He also uses his status to promote products and services, taking advantage of his popularity. This article will discuss some of his most famous moments as well as some ways you can use this information to your benefit.
These examples prove that being yourself isn’t very successful in the world of entertainment. People who succeed in the media don’t stick with their natural personality but rather develop persona’s that appeal to other people.
His latest appearance was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he sang his hit song “Boom Boom.” Check it out here!
This article will focus on his earlier career how he got popular in the first place. While not every person may be able to directly apply what he did back then to what you do now, there are several things you can take away from these lessons.
As we know, The Joker is one of the most well-known characters in comic book history. He made his debut back in 1939 with artist Jerry Robinson and writer Bill White. Since then he has appeared in more than 70 different stories and incarnations!
The character was originally conceived as an aristocratic sociopath who would use humor to mask his evil nature. This version of the character did not work for many people because they felt it lacked depth.
Over time, other versions were tried including ones where The Joker was portrayed as a crazed individual or someone that got what they wanted by using violence. These versions are much darker but also lack the charm that makes the character so popular today.
It’s important to note here that none of these versions are better than the original. They all have their strengths and weaknesses just like any other character. It is simply which one(s) each person likes best.
But how did this happen? Who decided to make him into a television show? And why is he still around over seventy years later?
It started when radio producer George Jessel proposed creating a fictional villain for a series called I Love You Because. After brainstorming ideas, they realized there wasn’t anything funny about crime. So they changed the setting to Gotham City and gave the main protagonist the name Batman.
Jessel thought up the rest of the characters himself, including Harvey Dent/Two-Face and Alfred Pennyworth.
Before he was hosting The Rap Game, before he was being labeled as one of TV’s highest-profile black men, before he became famous for his flashy style and penchant for controversy, rapper/producer/director Nick Cannon did something most people never see in a professional artist’s career. He produced his own songs!
In fact, Cannon actually wrote, recorded, and performed many of his early hits himself. Some even consider him to be the first true hip hop producer, since he made his own rules about how to make hit music by writing his own melodies, lyrics, and beats.
He also designed much of the album artwork that accompanied some of his earliest singles, making it possible to credit him as an integral part of the process of getting popularized.
Before he was hosting his own show, Entertainment Talk, he hosted several other awards shows. Some of these included Best Comedy Awards, The BET Award for Best Hype Team Member, MTV’s VMA (Music Video Awards) For the Hip Hop Category, and Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
He also made appearances at various award ceremonies as an MC or performer. These include the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, and more!
His best known position is probably that of rapper/MC on some of those events, but he has done everything from singing to dancing.
As we know, before someone is famous they have to do something that gets them noticed. For Nick Cannon, one of his earliest big breaks was as a contestant on MTV’s hit show The Challenge. He appeared in two seasons of the competition series where he completed tasks such as cleaning toilets or taking care of orphaned children.
While these experiences were not enough to get him into our top 10 list of biggest celebrity gurus, they did help launch his career. After appearing on The Challenge, he received several offers for small acting gigs and eventually landed a supporting role on an NBC sitcom.
His first major break came when producers saw his performance while filming his audition tape for America’s Got Talent. His charisma made him a natural fit for the comedy showcase, so he was asked to join the cast. Since then, he has become a mainstay on the show, helping it win multiple Emmy Awards.
He also starred in another popular television program that features challenges and competitions — The New Year! Channel 101‘s new years resolution challenge had people creating their own goal for the year and having fun with it. It became very popular and helped promote the channel.
After all of this success, it seems crazy to believe that Nick didn’t start thinking about launching his own line of products immediately. But he actually took time off after AGT to focus on other projects.
As mentioned earlier, he is most well known for his work as a recording artist. He had several successful music projects throughout his career that include features with some of today’s top artists. Some of these collaborations included Future, The Weeknd, Drake, Chris Brown, Tyga, Kanye West, and Rihanna just to name a few!
He also hosted America’s Got Talent and MTV’s Wild N' Ball season 2 before both shows were canceled. Beyond his musical success though, he has made a pretty impressive list of other achievements.
These include hosting awards shows such as the American Music Awards, BET Experience, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award, and more. He was also awarded an Emmy in 2018 for his contribution to TV as a Entertainment Talk Show Host.
His talk show, The Breakfast Club, won two Emmys in 2017 and 2019 respectively. His second win was for Outstanding Informational Series or Special.
As we mentioned before, he made his way into the entertainment industry as an actor. But it wasn’t until he took advantage of what was available to him that he really got famous. He marketed himself by becoming a celebrity in his own right.
He became one of the most recognizable faces in show business through his work as a comedian, rapper, TV host, and producer. Plus, he built up his profile via appearances on other people’s shows and films!
By lending his name and image to brands, he has received compensation for it (mostly in form of free stuff or discounts on products and services). This is called being a brand ambassador or product spokesperson.
It’s not too hard to be a brand ambassador if you're already popular, but it does take some smart marketing strategies. And there's no shame in staying out of the market unless you are truly unable to make a profit off of it.
As we mentioned, he was famous for his appearances as a talk show host. He hosted The Greg Giraffe Show from 2009 to 2012 where he would interview celebrities. Some of these included Charlie Sheen (for which he received a lot of attention), Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and more!
He also starred in some TV shows such as America’s Got Talent, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and MTV's Are You Serious?
In 2016, he opened up his own restaurant called Nomad’s On Main in Harlem, New York City. People have been talking about it ever since!
What is the most well-known item at Nomads On Main? According to reports, the answer is the chicken sandwich. It has become one of the place’s top sellers along with other popular items like the “dirty rice” and chicken and waffle dishes.
As we mentioned, he made his name as an actor with major roles in films such as The Haunted Mansion, Wild West, and Disaster Movie. He also starred alongside Ariana Grande in her hit film My Life as a Film!
But it was his work outside of acting that really got him famous. In fact, it’s what landed him his first big break as a TV host. That is, until he totally revamped the way you celebrate Christmas.
He founded Operation Santa Save Lives to encourage people to give back by spending less during this season so kids all around the world will have access to enough toys for the rest of their lives.
His philanthropic efforts didn’t stop there though. Since then, he has launched more than a dozen other charities focused on issues such as homelessness, education, and health care.
By creating products and services that help others in need, he has helped himself stay relevant while giving back to society.
